Aaron Gardiner, M.D.

Hello, my name is Aaron Gardiner and I founded Gardiner Financial, Inc. in 2016 with the goal of providing high quality financial advice to my fellow physicians. When I completed my orthopaedic surgery training and began my career in private practice, I found that I had been very well prepared for the challenges that awaited me when it came to taking care of my patients. However, I quickly realized that my medical training had left me woefully unprepared to manage the personal finance challenges of a young physician. I knew that I needed help but could not find a firm that was the right fit for me.
I have spent the past several years educating myself about financial planning and investment management, specifically with regards to the issues faced by physicians. As my knowledge grew, I realized that most financial planning firms were not a good fit for the young physician who is just completing their training. At that point I decided to start Gardiner Financial with the goal of creating the firm that I could not find when I completed my training.
I was born and raised in Oakland, California. I graduated from Harvard University and the University of California, San Diego School of Medicine. I currently live in Wellesley, Massachusetts with my wife and two daughters and I continue to work as an orthopaedic surgeon.
